- Florida Supreme Court argument on December 11, 2002 in Pepper’s Steel & Alloys, Inc. vs. United States of America; docket no. SC02-971.
Mr. Bales successfully argued on behalf of the insured in favor of granting attorneys’ fees to the insured in all disputes arising from the underlying

- Successfully defended $12,000,000 breach of contract action in Highlands County Circuit Court with directed verdict at the close of the Plaintiff’s case
after one week of trial.
- Obtained Plaintiff’s Final Judgment in excess of $1,740,000 after jury verdict in 2009 in breach of contract action in Miami-Dade County Circuit Court.
- Obtained Plaintiff’s jury verdict in breach of fiduciary duty and breach of contract action in 2009 in Miami-Dade County Circuit Court.
- Obtained several multi-million dollar settlements in breach of fiduciary duty and negligence actions against directors and officers on behalf of
Bankruptcy Estates in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida.
- Obtained million dollar award in 2008 in favor of stockholder in breach of duty proceedings before American Arbitration Association Panel.
- Obtained $1,000,000 settlement for the Plaintiff in 2007 in legal malpractice action in Miami-Dade County Circuit Court.
- Obtained multi-million dollar settlement in favor of Title Insurance Company in an action against third party.
- Successfully defended attorneys in legal malpractice and breach of fiduciary duty actions in Miami-Dade and Broward County Circuit Courts.
- Successfully prosecuted NASD and FINRA proceedings on behalf of Financial Advisors against Prudential Securities and Banc of America Investment Services.
